Gus Aleman was born in Venezuela, but moved to Georgia with his family at age 10. He attended Georgia State University where he graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration in 2009. After college, he worked as a congressional aide for U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson in Washington D.C. In 2011, Gus went back to Georgia for law school; and in 2014, he obtained his Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law.
While in law school, he clerked for the Honorable Alford J. Dempsey, Fulton County Superior Court. In addition, he worked in the in-house litigation counsel office of a Fortune 500 insurance company. After law school, Gus opened up a general law practice in Roswell, GA focusing on helping the Hispanic community.
He enjoys traveling, and has visited over 25 countries in 3 continents.
