Matthew A. Dickason, Managing Attorney
Matthew A. Dickason is the firm’s founder and Managing Attorney. In 2003, he received his J.D. from The Walter F. George Law School at Mercer University in Macon, GA. A member of the Georgia Bar, he created Dickason Law Group in 2007 to focus on residential, commercial and small business loan closings. As Chief Financial Officer of the U.S. Screen Company, a family manufacturing company based in Sullivan, Ohio, Matt draws on his experience to advise small to medium sized companies in all facets of business and corporate law.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys being a Dad.
Mohini Patel, Attorney
Mohini Patel joined Dickason Law Group in January 2010 and works as a contract attorney closing residential and commercial loans in the Atlanta metro area. Mohini grew up in Smyrna, Georgia, and received a Bachelors of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia in 2005 and a J.D. from Mercer University in 2009.
Mohini was admitted into the State Bar of Georgia in 2009. Mohini is fluent in Gujarati, the native language of the Indian state of Gujarat. She enjoys watching movies and spending time with family and friends
Sunni Curl, Director of Marketing and Business Development

Sunni Curl started with the firm in 2010 and has 7 years of experience in the land development field. Born in Michigan but raised in Atlanta, Sunni received a Bachelors of Science in Policy Studies concentrating in Planning and Economic Development and is a licensed real estate agent. She has worked for a local municipality, was a Project Manager for a civil engineering firm and an architecture firm, and has brokered commercial real estate deals.
She is an active volunteer with many non profit organizations including serving on the construction and site selection committees for Habitat for Humanity.
Amber Satterfield, Closing Manager
Amber Satterfield started with the firm in 2007. She is an Atlanta native who was born in Gwinnett County. Amber has extensive experience in the closing business, having worked for over 15 years on both the lending and closing side of the mortgage industry. She started as a post-closer with an attorney in her home town of Buford, Georgia. In addition, she trained as a closer with Option One Mortgage for two years to gain a better understanding of the lender's side of real estate transactions.
In addition to being a Georgia real estate procedure expert, Amber has also trained in the "wet funding states" California, Texas, Rhode Island, Florida, Hawaii and Alaska.
Melissa Samaniego, Director of Strategic Operations & Closing Manager

Melissa Samaniego is our newest member of the firm and brings 12 years of experience in the real estate industry. Born in Upstate New York and raised in Gwinnett County, Melissa received a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology with a Minor in Spanish at the University of Georgia in 1999. She worked previously with the largest real estate law firm in Georgia and brings a vast amount of experience in all aspects of the industry including title clearance, preclosing. closing, disbursement, escrow accounting, land development, construction and commercial transactions. Melissa is also trained in various other states including Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, Maryland.
Fluent in Spanish, Melissa enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two sons.
Betty Maddox, Office Manager, Carrollton Office
Betty Maddox started with Dickason Law Group in Aug. 2010. Betty was born in Newnan Georgia and resides in Carrollton Georgia. Betty is an active member of Mount Holly Church in Bremen, Georgia where she loves to sing and volunteer. Betty is responsible for pre-closing, closing, and post closing on all files that close out in the Carrollton office. Betty started out as a Loan Processor for a Mortgage Broker, then moved to a local Law Firm as pre closer and post closer.
Betty is married and loves spending time with her 3 children, family and friends.
Noreen Francis, Controller
Noreen Francis joined the firm in 2010 and functions as the firm's Controller. Noreen earned her Associates Degree from Georgia Perimeter College. She was an Office Coordinator for a prominent law firm and brings with her a solid background of escrow accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and post closing experience.
Jeremiah Jarmin, Attorney

Jeremiah Jarmin is a native of Washington, DC. He received his degree in Business Finance from Wagner College in New York City. After finishing his undergraduate studies, Jeremiah attended John Marshall Law School in Atlanta where he received his juris doctorate.
Upon graduating from John Marshall, Jeremiah worked for the DeKalb County Solicitor-General’s Office as an Assistant Solicitor-General. In 2009, Jeremiah started his own law firm the Jarmin Law Group. Jeremiah wanted to get back to his business roots to pursue his passion in assisting small to midsize businesses start, grow, and exit their respective industries. The Jarmin Law Group’s practice areas include Corporate and Real Estate Transactions. The Jarmin Law Group’s corporate practice includes but is not limited to start ups, mergers and acquisitions, outside general counsel services, and various contract matters. The Jarmin Law Group in conjunction with the Dickason Law Group also offers commercial and residential real estate transaction services.
Jeremiah is a regular contributor to Avvo.com for which he has written several legal guides. Jeremiah is a member of the Georgia Bar and admitted to practice in the Georgia Supreme Court, Georgia Court of Appeals, all county and municipal courts of Georgia, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. He has been published in the Athens Banner-Herald, the Waycross Journal-Herald, and the Albany Journal. He has also appeared as legal contributor on the Martha Zoller Show, the Al Gainey Show, Newsmakers with Tim Bryant, and Atlanta Fox 5 News.
